Pirate ladies duo wraps up 2022 season at State Meet
FRESNO -- The dynamic duo of Orange Coast College women's cross country runners Annabelle Boudreau and Whitney Johnson wrapped up their 2022 season on Saturday at the California Community College Athletic Association State Meet at Fresno's Woodward Park and both runners handled the atmosphere well.
Running against the best of the best at the community college level, Boudreau conquered the 5k course and finished 51st overall with a time of 20:17.2, running at a 6:33/mile clip.
Johnson also competed for the Pirates and ran a 7:03/mile clip en route to a time of 21:52.
It was a stellar season for the Pirate twosome as they battled all throughout the season and earned spots at the OEC Meet, the SoCal Regionals and the CCCAA State Meet with their hard work and effort.
