1. Tell me about your time here at OCC … what have you enjoyed the most out of it? And … what made you decide to come here in the first place?
Being on the tennis team at OCC has been a lot of fun. This is my first semester at OCC. I was attending Colorado College last semester, but due to some health problems I was having, I decided to transfer to OCC to be near my doctors who know my medical history and back to where I have grown up all my life. My Grandpa and Grandma both attended OCC as well.

2. Has there been an athlete (from your sport or other sports) who has inspired you to perform at your best? What is it about that person that has inspired you so much?
An athlete that has inspired me to perform at my best is David Ferrer. His hard-working mentality and consistency are some things I have tried to implement into my tennis game. Also Agnieszka Radwańska hasinfluenced my game. She is very crafty and mixes up the pace all of which I have tried to apply in my game.

3. Playing tennis at this level tells me you have a love for this game. What is it about your sport that you love so much? When did you first start playing your sport and when did you realize that this is a sport you could excel at?
Playing tennis gives me joy. I love the feeling I get when hitting a tennis ball. I started playing tennis when I was five and realized that I wanted to pursue playing tennis competitively when I was nine.

4. What are your strengths in your sport and what are some facets of your game that you would like to see improved as the season goes on?
I would say that my strengths in my tennis game would be my movement, being able to go from defense to offense, and my consistency. I would like to see my serve improve as the season goes on.

5. How would your teammates or coaches describe who you are, if I were to ask them?
If I were to ask my teammates or coaches to describe me, I think they would say that I am passionate and dedicated.

6. Do you have any hobbies/interests outside of tennis? What do you like to do in your spare time?
Some hobbies/interests that I have outside of tennis is that I like listening to music, drawing, and collecting coins.

7. What is your favorite pre-match meal or snack?? What about after a match??
My favorite pre-match meal or snack would be boba. After a match, Chipotle would be my go-to.

8. Favorite all-time Movie? AND … Favorite SPORTS movie?
My favorite all-time movie is "The Maze Runner: The Death Cure."
My Favorite Sports movie is "Soul Surfer."

9. Favorite all-time Song?
My favorite all-time song is “First” by Everglow.

10. What’s the No. 1 travel destination on your Bucket List? AND/OR ... What’s your No. 1 sporting event you want to see that’s tops on your bucket list?
My number-one travel destination on my bucket list is the French Polynesia. It looks like tropical paradise and the reefs and beaches look really beautiful.
As for a sporting event that I want to see, is the Australian Open. It is a Grand Slam tennis tournament and the stadium and site looks very nice.
