Four Pirates named to 2016 All-WIRA Team

COSTA MESA -- The Western Intercollegiate Rowing Association (WIRA) has announced this year's All-WIRA Team and four Orange Coast College rowers have earned a spot on this year's teams.

On the men's side, a pair of Pirates -- Garinn Morton and Benjamin Orem -- earned First-Team, All-WIRA honors after helping OCC to a third-place finish at this year's WIRA race.

For the Coast women, who finished second at WIRA for the first time in school history at the Varsity 8 level, were honored by the selections of Elery Bermudez and Kristen Klein to this year's All-WIRA team.
