Bio

With a coaching career that began in 2001, Jennifer Williams returns to the Orange Coast College track and field program, where she continues the strong tradition of the OCC men's and women's squads. 

Joining the Pirates in 2017-18, Williams has been one of the top track and field coaches in all of California Community College athletics.

From 2001-07, Williams began her coaching career at Cuyamaca College, where she helped guide the Coyotes to five conference championships during her tenure. She was named the Pacific Coast Conference's Coach of the Year for All Women's Sports in 2003 and for All Men's Sports in 2005.

In addition to her track and field duties, Williams was also in charge of the Cuyamaca men's and women's cross country program, where she was named the men's PCC Coach of the Year in 2002 and again in 2005 as well as the women's PCC Coach of the Year in 2005 and 2007.

From there, Williams continued her teaching and coaching careers at Palomar College, where she continued her fine work, guiding the Comets to two conference championships.

  • Pacific Coast Conference Coach of the Year for Women's Cross Country -- 2005, 2007, 2010, 2011, 2013

As an athlete, Williams attended Santa Ana College and ran track for the Dons, earning a scholarship to San Diego State University, where she earned her degree in criminal justice. From there, Williams earned her Master's degree in physical education at Azusa Pacific University.

Jennifer resides in Vista with her two children, Adeline and Austin.
