Pirates card a 380 in OEC season opener
SAN JACINTO -- The 2023 season is underway for the Orange Coast College women's golf team and the Pirates came out swinging, finishing sixth overall at Soboba Golf Club on Wednesday with a team score of 380.
DeLylah Collins came out strong for the Pirates and shot an 89 for OCC's low round of the day.
Cathy Nguyen was close behind Collins and carded a 91 for Coast, followed by Coco Fulton (99), Madison Giles (101), Taylor Tuxford (103) and Madison Keawe-Kimball (112).
The Pirates will return to golfing action on Monday at Cottonwood Golf Club at the Cuyamaca Tournament, beginning at 11 a.m. OEC play resumes on Wednesday, Sept. 20 when College of the Desert hosts the other six conference school at Ironwood Country Club, beginning at 8:30 a.m.
