Rodriguez, Arvidson set the pace for Pirates
SAN DIEGO -- The Orange Coast College women's cross country duo of Jackie Rodriguez and Reagan Arvidson each posted solid times for the Pirates at Friday's San Diego Mesa Invitational.
Against a top field of runners and a challenging 5K course, Rodriguez earned the Pirates a top-10 finish by placing 10th with a time of 20 minutes, 27.4 seconds.
In the 105-runner field, Arvidson more than held her own as well, placing 22nd overall with a time of 21:11.3.
The Pirates will return to action on Friday at the Vanguard University Invitational, which will take place at Mile Square Park, beginning at 8:30 a.m.
