Pirate trio place well at GWC Invitational
HUNTINGTON BEACH -- The Orange Coast College women's cross country trio of Annabelle Boudreau, Jaysi Reyes and Caylee Green put forth strong times at the Golden West College Invitational on Friday at Central Park.
Boudreau was the top runner for the Pirates on Friday, finishing 12th overall with a 5k time of 21 minutes, 56.85 seconds.
Reyes was close behind her Pirate teammate and placed 13th overall with a time of 22:29.76, while Green cracked the top-25 with a solid time of 24:19.71.
The Pirates will return to action on Friday at the SoCal Preview Meet at the Kern County Soccer Park in Bakersfield, beginning at 9 a.m.
