Vince Coleman set to play at Youngstown State
COSTA MESA -- Orange Coast College defensive lineman Vince Coleman will continue his athletic and academic careers at Youngstown State University, according to head coach Mike Taylor.
A two-year standout for the Pirates from 2011-12, Coleman became a defensive star for the Pirates as a sophomore when he earned second-team, All-Southern Conference honors.
The 6-foot-3, 234 defensive end made the move from linebacker and racked up 61 sacks and a team-best 8.5 sacks in 2012.
A Long Beach Poly HS grad, Coleman also totalled a team-best 15.5 tackles for loss and recovered one fumble for the Pirates.
