Pirates take third at OEC matchup
MISSION VIEJO -- The Orange Coast College men's golf team carded a team score of 396 at this week's Orange Empire Conference matchup, hosted by Saddleback College at Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club on Monday.
Cathan Peterson-Cheek and Joshua Lane were the low scorers for the Pirates, with each shooting a 3-over-par 75. Ming Lin was close behind with a 79, while Sky Nam carded an 83 and Devin Keith rounded out the scoring with an 88.
Cypress was the low scorer of the day with a team total of 376, with Saddleback (380) finishing second. Cuyamaca (399) finished fourth.
The Pirates will return to action on Monday at Olivas Links for another OEC matchup, beginning at 10 a.m. OCC will be the host school on Monday, March 28 at the Costa Mesa Country Club at 11 a.m.
