Bio
A longtime coach for the prestigious Orange Coast College aquatics programs, Anthony Iacopetti returns to OCC as the head men's swim coach, a position he's held since the 2012 season.
During Iacopetti's tenure at OCC, the Pirates have continued on with their winning tradition, claiming over 20 Orange Empire Conference titles for both men's and women's programs, as well as and eight state titles between the men's and women's swim programs.
On two occasions during Iacopetti's OCC career, the Pirates claimed state crowns on both teams in the same year, winning dual titles in 2006 and again in 2011.
His strong coaching has not gone unnoticed by his peers as Iacopetti has been named the Orange Empire Conference Coach of the Year eight times and the California Community College Athletic Association's State Coach of the Year five times.
In addition to his swim coaching duties, Iacopetti also works with the women's water polo team in the fall.
