Pirate five ends season with loss to Santa Ana

COSTA MESA -- The Orange Coast College women's basketball team got to finish what it started on Friday night as the Pirates wrapped up the regular season with an 87-44 loss to visiting Santa Ana College.

After a frustrating season, the Pirates at least got to finish things up on the basketball court, and gave sophomore Violet Cisneros one final game in a Pirate uniform.

The sophomore guard scored a team-best 22 points to go along with 14 rebounds for the Pirates. She wraps up her OCC career averaging 10.3 points and 8.9 rebounds for the 2019-20 season.

Cristal Hernandez added a double-double of her own with 12 points and 14 rebounds, while Gracelynn Figueroa and Lea Adame each added five points.

For the Dons, Brianna Aluva had 21 points and seven rebounds, while Nyla Bivens added 18 points.
