Pirates finish seventh at OEC matchup
SAN JACINTO -- The Orange Coast College women's golf team took on the rest of the Orange Empire Conference field on Wednesday at Soboba Country Club and finished seventh with a team score of 407.
College of the Desert shot a team score of 320 to win the competition, while Irvine Valley (358) and Fullerton (359) rounded out the top three.
OCC's low round of the day went to freshman Alexa Barnes, who carded a 94. Other Pirate scores included Alisa Irwin (97), Nicole Jenkins (98) and Breanna Gutierrez (118).
The Pirates will return to action with the rest of the OEC as they compete at Oak Creek Golf Club in Irvine on Wednesday, beginning at 11:30 a.m.
