COSTA MESA -- The Orange Coast College women's water polo team continued to fight hard for all four quarters against Fullerton College during Wednesday's 17-4 Orange Empire Conference loss against one of the top teams in the state.

Briana Boatman and Kayla Yamamoto also scored for the Pirates, while in goals, the combination of Taylor McGrath and Kara Kanetis totalled seven saves against a relentless FC offensive attack.

Journey WernerDelaney Mazelin and Melissa Segovia also added assists for the Pirates, who return to action on Friday at the Long Beach City College Tournament. OCC's next home contest will be on Wednesday against rival Golden West, beginning at 4 p.m.
