Pirates take sixth at Biola Invitational
FULLERTON -- The Orange Coast College women's cross country team competed against several four-year colleges and finished sixth overall at the 2023 Biola Invitational, hosted by Biola University, on Friday morning at Craig Regional Park.
The Pirates -- who finished with a team score of 189 -- was paced by freshman Liberty Miller, who finished the 5K course in 21st place with a time of 19 minutes, 32.7 seconds.
Other top Coast times were turned in by Jaysi Reyes (21:27.1), Alexis Gilboy (21:35.2), Jennifer Pineda (24:48.6) and Maloni Hernandez (31:43.3).
Next up for the Pirate runners will be a trip to El Dorado Park for the 2023 SoCal Preview Meet, which will take place on Friday, beginning at 9 a.m.
