ORANGE -- The Orange Coast College men's water polo team picked up a solid 10-9 win over Chapman University in the 2019 season opener for the Pirates on Friday.
Andrej Madous and Ryan Baumann each had four goals for the Pirates, while Luke Rhone added two goals as the Pirates found just enough offense to top the four-year Panthers.
Coast will return to action this weekend at the Mt. San Antonio College Tournament and will take on El Camino College at 11:10 a.m. on Friday. OCC's next home contest will be on Wednesday, Oct. 9 against Cypress, beginning at 3 p.m.
