In the tourney nightcap against the Tigers (6-9), Charlie Shobe and Ryan Baumann each had three goals, while Luke Rhone added two goals and Nicholas Fichman and Andrej Maodus each tossed in solo goals.

The Pirates and Tigers were tied at 2 after one quarter before Coast scored six of the next eight goals over the middle two quarters to pull away.

OCC will return to action on Wednesday at Saddleback College, beginning at 3 p.m. The Pirates' next home match will be on Wednesday, Oct. 23 against Fullerton, also at 3 p.m.
