Pirates settle for sixth at Irownood
PALM DESERT -- The Orange Coast College women's golf team placed sixth overall during Monday's Orange Empire Conference matchup at Ironwood Country Club.
Led by an 84 by freshman Emily Lewis, the Pirates shot a team score of 374 and are currently 14-10 in the OEC standings.
September Mirghanbari and Minh Ngo each shot a 96 for OCC, while Nicole Jenkins carded a 98.
On Wednesday, the Pirates improved on their team score and produced a team score of 368 at Oak Creek Golf Club.
Coast will return to action on Monday at Twin Oaks Golf Club -- hosted by Palomar College -- beginning at 10 a.m.
