In the long jump, Coast standout Lauren Delgadillo qualified for State with a fourth-place mark of 18-feet, 1/2-inch.

A pair of Pirates will be competing for a state title in the 1,500 as Bethani Heising finished fourth at Regionals with a time of 4:49.58 and Alyssa Allen clocked in with a sixth-place time of 4:52.55.

Long distance specialist Jenessa Reyes will have a busy weekend at the State Meet after qualifying in both the 5,000 (7th, 19:37.5) and the 10,000 (6th, 40:29.5).
