Second-Annual OCC Alumni Baseball game set for Dec. 15
COSTA MESA -- The Orange Coast College baseball team will host its second-annual alumni vs. alumni baseball game, set for Saturday, Dec. 15 at 11 a.m. at Wendell Pickens Field.
According to head coach John Altobelli, batting practice will start at 9 a.m. with an 11 a.m. start to the game. Cost per player is $50, which includes food throughout the day, as well as a nice hat and sweatshirt.
The Pirates are looking for any/all former OCC baseball players to attend, as well as former coaches.
"Last year's first-ever alumni event had an incredible turnout and I'm hoping for more people to come out this year," Altobelli said. "The support we get from our alumni means the world to me and it's great to see a bunch of familiar faces on our field again."
Coast reminds all who attend this simple request for the new field ... no sunflower seeds, tobacco, food or drinks allowed.
