Pirates blank Imperial Valley, 9-0
COSTA MESA -- The Orange Coast College men's tennis team made quick work over visiting Imperial Valley with a 9-0 nonconference win on Friday morning at the OCC Tennis Complex.
Coast (6-0), lost only three games in all six singles matches, with 6-0, 6-0 results coming from Joey Dijkstra, Doug Nguyen, Ho Kim Tam, Yuma Olsen and Matt Lindsey.
In doubles, Coast outscored IVC 24-1 with wins coming from Tam/Chris Hasrouni (8-1), Lindsey/Dijkstra (8-0) and Olsen/Nguyen (8-0).
The Pirates will return to action on Tuesday at Cerritos, beginning at 2 p.m. OCC's next home match will be on Thursday against Cypress, also at 2 p.m.
