SANTA ANA -- Sydnee Busby scored four goals to lead the Orange Coast College women's soccer team to a 6-2 Orange Empire Conference win over host Santa Ana on Tuesday afternoon.
Busby, who leads the Orange Empire Conference with 14 goals, scored one in the first half, followed by a three-goal outburst over a four-minute span early in the second half for the Pirates (7-3-2, 4-2-1 in OEC).
Lupe Rodriguez and Jordan Moore also scored for the Pirates, who outshot the Dons 15-3 for the match.
Coast lead 2-0 in the first half before Busby's second-half hat trick pulled the guests away from the hosts.
The Pirates will return to action on Tuesday at Golden West College, beginning at 3 p.m. before returning to the OCC Soccer Complex on Friday, Oct. 14 against Norco, also at 3 p.m.
