Pirates roll past SD City, 9-0
COSTA MESA -- It was a dominating performance for the Orange Coast College men's tennis team as the Pirates blanked visiting San Diego City College, 9-0, on Tuesday afternoon.
Coast (2-0) only lost a combined eight games throughout singles, with Tony Wright leading the way with a 6-0, 6-0 win.
In doubles, it was more of the same as the team of Tokunosuke Takahasi and Pinoe Chu blanked their Knight opponents, 8-0. The same can be said for the team of Dao and Tony Wright as they also won, 8-0.
The Pirates return to action on Thursday at home against Palomar, beginning at 2 p.m.
