Coast slams Cypress, 9-0
COSTA MESA -- The Orange Coast College men's tennis team picked up an impressive 9-0 Orange Empire Conference win over visiting Cypress College on Tuesday in an Orange Empire Conference matchup.
Coast (6-4, 2-2 in OEC) lost just nine games the entire afternoon and were led by shutout wins by Pinoe Chu and Luis DeJesus. Ryu Miyake and David Nguyen came close to the double-doughnut and won their matches, 6-1, 6-0.
OCC will return to action on Thursday at Irvine Valley College, beginning at 2 p.m. Coast's next home match will be on Tuesday, March 18 against Riverside, also at 2 p.m.
