Guest, Ellison earn first-team All-OEC honors
COSTA MESA -- Sophomores Sarah Guest and Devan Ellison each earned first-team All-Orange Empire Conference honors for the Orange Coast College women's soccer team at this year's postseason conference meeting.
Ellison notched three goals and three assists for the Pirates in 2014 and this is her second straight first-team, all-conference selection.
Guest, also a two-time, first-team, All-OEC selection, was one of the top defenders on a Pirates' team that allowed just 21 goals in 19 contests.
Joining Guest and Ellison for all-conference honors are second-team selections, freshman defender Manuela Ramirez and freshman midfielder Cori Haney.
Ramirez joined Guest on defense and helped lead the Pirates to eight shutouts and a 7-8-4 overall record.
Haney tied for the team lead with four goals for Coast, earning a pair of two-goal performances against Norco (Oct. 10) and Santa Ana (Oct. 21).
