Pirates finish third at this week's OEC matchup
CYPRESS -- The Orange Coast College men's golf team fired a team score of 377 for third place at Wednesday's Orange Empire Conference matchup, played at the Navy Golf Course.
With the third-place result, the Pirates improve their record to 14-6 and are three wins behind Riverside and Santiago Canyon, who both sit at 17-3 overall.
Zach Eddy, Bryson Brantley and Tetsu Kase each fired a 2-over-par 74 to lead the way for Coast, while Nich Zapotoczny carded a 76 and Connor Hurst and Myles Valentine each shot a 79.
Santiago Canyon shot the low team score of the day with a 363, while Riverside took second with a 369. Saddleback (385), Irvine Valley (387) and Cypress (394) complete the remaining team scores.
The Pirates will return to action on Wednesday at El Prado, beginning at 12 p.m.
