Later in the afternoon, he teamed up with Cody Epstein, Javier Molina and Austin Brown and helped the Pirates take first place in the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 3:24.12. Brown's strong finish helped fight off Santa Monica, who finished second with a time of 3:25.95.

From there, the Pirates picked up several top-three scores to help them finish fourth overall against a tough field of schools. Morse took second in the 400 hurdles (56.34) as well as the 110 high hurdles (15.87). Epstein took second in the 400 with a time of 50.89.
