Chela's two goals lift Pirates past Chargers, 4-1
CYPRESS -- Baji Chela had two goals and one assist to lead the Orange Coast College men's soccer team to a 4-1 Orange Empire Conference win over Cypress College on Wednesday.
Brandon Bauman and Frankie Munoz each added single goals for the Pirates, while Chase Nugent, Jorge Sanchez and Patrik Haley each finished with one assist.
In goal, Connor Nelson notched four saves to pick up the win.
Orange Coast wrapped up the regular season with an overall record of 11-5-4, 7-4-3 in the Orange Empire Conference. With a third-place finish in the always-tough OEC, the Pirates have advanced to the playoffs for the first time since 2006.
