COSTA MESA -- The Orange Coast College men's volleyball team improved to 5-1 for the season with a home sweep over L.A. Pierce College on Wednesday inside the Peterson Gym.
Zane Moothart had 10 kills, while Wyatt Henson and Kyle McCauley each added eight to lead the Pirates past the visiting Brahmas, 25-17, 25-16, 25-17.
Colby Elder dished out a team-best 18 assists, while Jacob Gilliam added 11. Both setters notched four digs, while McCauley led the way with six digs.
Coast returns to action on Wednesday at Long Beach City College at 6 p.m. OCC's next home match will take place on Friday, Feb. 23 against San Diego Mesa, also at 6 p.m.
