FULLERTON -- The Orange Coast College women's soccer team traveled to Fullerton College and returned home with a 4-0 Orange Empire Conference win over the host Hornets on Friday afternoon.
Coast scored a pair of goals in each half and held the Hornets to just three shots on goal the entire afternoon.
Cori Haney had a goal and two assists for the Pirates (2-2-2, 1-0-1 in conference), while Emily Malec added a goal and an assist. Rachel Meier and Judy Gonzalez each added goals for Coast, while, Emma Gomez notched an assist.
The Pirates will return to action on Tuesday at Santiago Canyon, beginning at 3 p.m. OCC's next home match will be on Friday against Golden West, beginning at 3 p.m.
